Johnny Munkhammar has a Comment in EUObserver, the main European news agency in Brussels, about the financial crisis, relating to reforms and a new policy paper published by the European Enterprise Institute. Read it here.
Johnny Munkhammar was a key note speaker at a major economic conference called Re-Start, in Tallinn, Estonia, with some 400 guests. The other speakers included Siim Kallas, vice President of the EU Commission, and Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip. The Guide to Reform will also be published in Estonian shortly.
On October 31st, Johnny Munkhammar had an op-ed in the DC Examiner in Washington DC advising US Presidential candidates not to copy an old European model of government-run health care. Instead, he points to the successful health care reform in the Netherlands. Read the op-ed here.

On October 9th, Johnny Munkhammar spoke at the European Resource Bank in Tblisi – the annual conference for mainly European and American think-tanks – directly after the Georgian Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze, who also got a copy of the book.

Johnny Munkhammar, who has been appointed Research Director at the European Enterprise Institute, has by now done 25 major speeches about the book in a number of countries. And the number of new countries during Fall keep adding up.
On September 19, Johnny Munkhammar was a Guest Speaker at the European Ideas Network Summer University, talking about the need for welfare and social security reform, based on the book. He also met Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and gave him the book. Berlusconi promised to read it.
